Psycho is a 1960 American psychological horror-thriller film produced and directed by Alfred Hitchcock. It’s about a Phoenix secretary who embezzles $40,000 from her employer’s client, goes on the run, and checks into a remote motel run by a young man under the domination of his mother.

There are several references to birds in this movie: Marion’s surname is Crane, Norman’s hobby is stuffing birds, and Norman states that Marion eats like a bird. Sir Alfred Hitchcock’s next movie was The Birds (1963).
